Tarik has Competed on the team for Penn State Abington University and was a semifinalist at the American Tennis Association Nationals in Florida.

He mentored youths and adults as a part of the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Program and  has coached youth teams and several after school and summer programs.

His favorite super hero is Batman which is evident when he dorns his Academy Summer Camp socks. He Is certified with the USTA Net Generation Safe play Program.
